What a great idea, renting your boat when you're not using it.  Nothing better than making a few bucks on an  investment that normally hemorrhages value. Or, if you run a VRBO on the water, the ability to rent your boat to your guests and earn extra revenue.  But how did he assure they would take care of the boat, and be protected if they harm themselves or someone else?  Insurance for boat rentals is about to take a giant leap forward. 

There are a few options out there for boat rental insurance, but they are cumbersome and quite expensive.
